Experience the Zen of Guitar!

Steve has been playing guitar since 1983, performing as a soloist, in duos, with bands and in orchestras. In that time he has become accomplished at classical, jazz, blues, pop and rock styles. In 1992 he graduated with a degree in Classical Guitar performance from the University of Minnesota.

Steve has written music and produced multiple albums in different genres and performed on many artists recordings. He has performed from coast to coast in iconic venues for tens of thousands of people.

Steve has also been a worship leader for over 30 years. He writes his own worship songs which are in demand and celebrated wherever he plays.

Steve has been a private music instructor as well as a music teacher at the high school level. Over the years he has shared his joy of learning and performing music with scores of students. He helps students find the love of playing every day and helps them identify obtainable yet challenging musical goals.

Steve’s love for helping and supporting people goes beyond the musical realm as well. He has certifications in Advanced Life Coaching, NLP, Modern Applied Psychology, and as a Master Mindfulness Practitioner. He uses this background to enhance the learning experience by creating a safe environment for students to explore what is interesting to them while enabling them to overcome blocks that may prevent them from becoming their best.

Steve is married with two daughters.
